Candy Magic Bars

  • One bowl

  • Kid-Friendly

  • Entertaining or Hostess Gift

Kids begging to bake this week? Sure....as long as it meets the *3 Rules!*

1.) Few Ingredients

2.) One Bowl

3.) They have to clean up.

Did I nail it? Here is an oldie but goodie that I posted one Halloween, but any candy you have lying around could work, even that old Halloween candy from last year. One rule I have is, make sure to refrigerate the bars after you bake for for at least an hour. This will ensure the bars set and are easier to cut up!

Servings - 16

Ingredients

-1/2 cup butter (4 tablespoons)

-20 OREO Cookies, Crushed

-1 (5 oz.) Package Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Crushed or Chocolate Candy Of Choice

-1 cup Reese's Pieces candy Or M&M's

-2 cups milk chocolate chips

-14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk

Directions 1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2.) Place butter into a sprayed 9X13 baking pan and melt in oven until it turns to a liquid; remove from oven. 3.) Spread cookie crumbs evenly over bottom of pan. (You should not be able to see the bottom of the pan.) 4.) Next disperse chocolate chips in an even layer followed by the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese's Pieces. 5.) Drizzle on the sweetened milk completely covering the mixture. 6.) Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes until the middle seems set and top is ever so slightly browned. 7.) Remove from oven and let cool. (Since the Reese's will melt a bit in the oven, sprinkle on extra Reese's cups and press firmly in to set) 8.) Cut into mini squares and Enjoy!!
